Art Quest

Overview

This workshop facilitates the development of strong, cohesive teams through collaborative exercises using the medium of art. And importantly, in addition to the process of creation, the program explores the thoughts and feelings expressed by participants through their visual artworks.

Participants forge fresh bonds with each other as they engage in expressing their shared vision, in a context that deviates markedly from their usual frames of reference, and a setting that is unfamiliar, yet relaxing.

Besides the satisfaction of unleashing their creativity, the teams get to express their vision and ideas on canvas, discuss the themes with the instructors, and present their work to the rest of the class.

Ms. Sangeeta Charan is an abstract artist who works with mixed media. Over the past 20 years, she has amassed a rich collection of paintings, sculptures and installations, and held/participated in exhibitions in Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai, Malaysia, Mumbai and Bangalore.

A creative, passionate educator, Sangeeta has been teaching since the early 1990s, in schools as well as at her studio. As an arts teacher, her goal is to inspire, to bring forth ideas, hone skills and develop creativity. Besides teaching techniques, Sangeeta aims to expand participants’ minds through art.
