Dipali Gupta

Dipali, hails from New Delhi, India. She has also lived in Romania and Hong Kong in the past. Singapore has been home for the past 7 years. She has been interested in art from an early age. Her interests extend to reading, psychology, photography and travel.

She likes to call herself a mix media artist. She has trained under the renowned Iranian artist-Ali Esmaeilipour. The excitement of combining different art mediums and materials and 'breaking the rules' always leads to a happy explosion of something unexpected . Her art has an honest simplicity about it.

Her present collection is titled - FLOW. In essence, flow is characterised by complete absorption in what one does, and a resulting loss in one's sense of space and time. It is an almost meditative state of mind. Best exemplified here by dancers who lose themselves in their art and feel one with the universe.
